In 2009 the Harrison County Solid Waste Authority had committed to an ARD 2009 event in the past. We had an eCycling Event (electronic) Collection Day & Tire Collection Day as well as a Medication Take Back Program planned. The date for this event had been set for Saturday, September 26, 2009.
This event took place at the VA Pool parking lot at the Clarksburg City Park on Route 98. The hours for the drop off collection were 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. We accepted electronic equipment like computers, televisions, radios, phones, etc. We will not accept appliances. The tires must be no larger than 16 inches and can be on or off the rim. There is a limit of 10 tires per vehicle. And you had to have been a resident of West Virginia. STAY TUNED FOR OUR NEXT EVENT! We plan to hold another Ecycling Event on Saturday, June 4, 2011! This event will be for recycling electronics ONLY!
