Sunday, November 15, 2009 is America Recycles Day!
Also the Harrison County Solid Waste Authority has committed to an ARD 2009 event. We have an eCycling Event (electronic) Collection Day & Tire Collection Day as well as a Medication Take Back Program planned. The date for this event has been set for Saturday, September 26, 2009.
This event will take place at the VA Pool parking lot at the Clarksburg City Park on Route 98. The hours for the drop off collection are 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. We will accept electronic equipment like computers, televisions, radios, phones, etc. We will not accept appliances. The tires must be no larger than 16 inches and can be on or off the rim. There is a limit of 10 tires per vehicle. You must be a resident of West Virginia. We look forward to seeing you on September 26, 2009.
